ROSE C. KROBOTH ITHACA - Rose C. Kroboth, of Ithaca, died Friday evening, February 23, 2007, at Lakeside Nursing Home in Ithaca. Rose was the daughter of the late John and Theresa Kroboth. After graduating from Lansing High School, Rose went to work for GLF and then Ithaca Gun Company before taking a position at Cornell University as a secretary in the Department of Floriculture. She retired from this position in 1989. She enjoyed golfing at Neuman Golf Course and was an avid bowler. Survivors include her two sisters, Theresa Teeter and Helen Kroboth; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Maggie, her pet beagle, is also among those who will miss Rose. She is preceded in death by her brother, John Kroboth; three sisters, Mary Reeves, Ann Turcsik, and Julia Barella. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, February 28, 2007, at 12:15 p.m. at the Herson Funeral Home in Ithaca. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.

THERESA E. TEETER LANSING - Theresa E. Teeter, age 92, resident of the Longview Community, died on Monday, April 28, 2008, at Cayuga Medical Center at Ithaca. Theresa was born on November 12, 1915 in Union Bridge, MD, a daughter of the late John and Theresa (Eberhart) Kroboth. She had been a lifetime resident of the Lansing and Dryden areas. Theresa had worked at Jamesway in Ithaca for nearly 20 years in addition to caring for her family. She is survived by her children, Clifford (Lola) Teeter of Marianna, FL, and Joyce (James) Kuhr of Vestal; 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Helen Kroboth of Albany; and by her husband's family. Theresa was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford, in 1991; a daughter, Edith Parlett; and a granddaughter, Cheri Stevenson, in 2001; and by her siblings, Mary Reeves, Ann Turcsik, Julia Barella, Rose Kroboth and John Kroboth. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to Noon on Friday, May 2, 2008, at the Lansing Funeral Home, 32 Auburn Road, in Lansing. A Scripture Service, led by Father Scott Kubinski of All Saints Catholic Church, will be held at the funeral home at Noon on Friday. Prayers of Committal will be then be held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Newfield. Those who wish to remember Theresa in the form of a memorial are asked to direct them to the Longview Resident Activity Fund, 1 Bella Vista Drive, Ithaca, NY 14850 or the charity of their choice.

He is also survived by two brothers Carl and Oakley Teeter, both of Groton. One sister Wilma Dayton of Auburn, NY. Several nieces and nephews Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 11, 1991 at 2:00pm at the Herson Funeral Home with the Rev. John Chamberlain officiating.
